United States – An energy drink developed a few years ago to facilitate hydration of the astronauts will now be available for everyone.

For an astronaut, to keep fit is obviously important because of the constraints and stress associated with space travel.

To avoid possible muscle fatigue or numbness due to dehydration, scientists at NASA had developed an electrolyte formula in the form of concentrated solution which when mixed with water quickly restores hydration and prevents fluid loss.

Scientists at NASA have almost put on 15 years of research in the development of the drink. And it had been drunk by astronauts for 20 years. Its commercial version will soon emerge as “The right stuff.” It has a salty taste and sweeteners were added to improve the taste without affecting the performance of the drink. The first orders were shipped on 11th June.
