Daily sexual relationships to improve the male fertility
Australia – Dr. Greening of the Processing center of the infertility of Wollongong highlights the benefit of a daily sexual activity on the male fertility.
Dr Greening asked 118 men whose sperm quality is below average, to ejaculate every day for a week without changing anything else with their lives. For 81% of these men, their semen quality has improved, the remaining 19% have seen the quality of their sperm decline.
The index of DNA fragmentation of sperm (DFI index) makes it possible to evaluate the quality of sperm and the degradation of the spermatozoa. For participants in the study, the DFI index was 34%, a poor quality, after three days of abstinence. After a week of daily ejaculation, the index DFI was 26%, an average quality.
Frequent ejaculation improves sperm mobility, even if the volume of semen and sperm concentration is reduced by the same frequency.Dr. Greening thinks that the less the spermatozoa spend time in the ejaculatory channel, the less they are exposed to oxidizing molecules.
If a bond between better quality of the spermatozoa and greater number of pregnancies were suggested, Dr. Greening wants to prove it. It is therefore advisable for couples to make love every day for a week before the date of ovulation to increase their chances of pregnancy.
